  1. How is this lesson planner better than my lesson plan book?

    The lessons you write in plan2teach will last forever. plan2teach is the last lesson planner you will ever need. It saves your plans from year to year and allows you to adapt them at will. It originated from a teacher's need to save time and preserve lessons for future classes, and perhaps for publication.
  2. How will I generate lesson plans?

    Type your lessons into the Single Lesson View format and save them. They will reappear in SLV, and in the Weekly Plan and Table View as well.
  3. Some of my lessons are connected to Internet sites. How can I integrate those with this software?

    plan2teach makes it simple to link your daily plans to the Internet or to other documents you have prepared. Once you have generated the hyperlink you can show movies in your classroom, print worksheets, or save background information for your lessons — all through your planner. See the User's Manual for step-by-step instructions.
  4. I have saved my own notes and test over the years. Will they become a part of my lessons in the new planner?

    If your notes can be scanned to your computer hard drive, they can become part of your daily lessons and saved as a hyperlink. You will never have to search through files or stacks of paper for important notes.
  5. I am an art teacher in a small high school. I do not teach the same class every semester. How would I use this program?

    plan2teach saves your plans from year to year. Once you have entered them, they are always available for you to recall at any time. When you are ready to reuse plans, you simply re-date them as needed.
  6. What is the advantage of this planner for preschool teachers?

    plan2teach provides unlimited space for preschool teachers to record the materials needed for a lesson, attach notes to parents, and store reminders in an orderly place.
  7. I like to work from home. If I install the program on my school computer, can I use it at home as well?

  8. It seems like my schedule is always being interrupted. I erase and rewrite plans in my paper and pencil planner. How will this be different with software?

    plan2teach permits you to cut and paste any plans, just like a word processor. You can also renumber the sequence of lessons for easy flow. The accompanying User's Guide gives step-by-step instructions.
  9. Does this program require a lot of computer skill? I am an experienced teacher, but a novice with computers.

    Anyone who can use a word processor can use plan2teach. The User's Guide shows steps and screenshots to demonstrate any feature you would like to use. In addition, Tutorials for Getting Started and Repeating Lesson Information are included in your download.
  10. My school district requires that I submit my lesson plans to a supervisor weekly. How can I do this without a plan book?

    plan2teach provides for easy printing of your weekly plans in the familiar two-page lesson format.
